Motorcycle Tour 2010

A few of my favorite photos from one of my tours.

This is Spider Rock, in Canyon De Chelly;  This rock is standing 800 feet above the canyon floor!
Tonto National Monument

Canyon De Chelly:  When I first saw this ruin, at the bottom of the trail, I had to stop, I felt a chill, the hair on the back of my neck stood up. It was a very spiritual moment for me.
Outside of Moab Utah, Colorado River;  This is Potash Rd. One of my favorite roads! Standing on the edge of the cliff here, your looking down about 130 foot to the Colorado River. SO KEWL!

This is me, blasting through a river in New Mexico! There is a cement slab under the water, which is about 30 inches deep. I stayed on the other side of this river for three days, so I had to ride through the river every time I went some place, it was pretty cool!

What can I say about this... It's Monument Valley. This is another place where you stop, sit for a while and reflect on your life. Bring a thermos of coffee, you might be here a while...

I took this photo at about 2:30 am from my campsite, along side the Colorado River, just outside Moab Utah.

Apache Reservation New Mexico: This was the such an interesting place. The Native Americans here where some of the friendliest folks I had met along the way, the Apache are a very handsome, interesting and pleasant tribe, there reservation is one of the cleanest I had seen, no litter anywhere.

This guy is one of the reasons I spent so much time in New Mexico. Billy the Kid. the only photo that has been authenticated. His story is worth checking into. There is so much we learned about this young man, most of it is wrong! Check him out...

Free camping in New Mexico. There is a small brook just behind the tent, I went swimming nude at dusk, and of course, you guessed it, I got caught! An elderly couple from Toronto, they turned out to be pretty cool, and they offered me some Starbucks coffee, so it was almost worth getting caught...

Who says it doesn't snow in the south?
