The solar panels are working perfectly. Free power from the sun!

Hanging with some friends, I have 38 more days before I retire!
It seems so odd to think that I will not have a career, much less a job...
Still, I'm looking forward to it.

Added the solar panels to the roof. 4 100 watt panels. also added a new stereo system.
Still working on cleaning it out and getting rid of more stuff... would like to cut it all by half!

love this new stereo, 4 speakers place in just the right location to give the best sound quality!

Starting to look like an adventure bus!
Kayak on board!
Almost ready to go!
41 more days till retirement.

So the bus has been fixed!
The end result was the fuel filter. It appeared to have water in it. When I hit a series of bumps, it would spill the water into the fuel injectors and stall the motor.
The final cost, $407.00 But it is running excellent again.

I've mounted and connected the 1500 watt converter. Also installed the charge controller. Tonight I install the 4 solar panels on the new roof rack.
I will finally have free power!

51 days left before I retire.

Well, the roof rack has been built and installed.
I've also added a Thule 4 bicycle carrier to the front bumper.

Today, the bus is in the shop for a service, there has been an issue with stalling when I encounter some potholes, so in NY, that means you cant drive anywhere!
Hoping to hear back soon that all is fixed and well. Keeping my fingers crossed that it is nothing serious.

Love the ladder rack!
 Solar panels will mount here

Bike Rack

Next up, a paint job!

Sink doors complete and installed.

More snow.

Abby, always in charge.

Added the closet doors over the weekend.
Along the bottom I added two slats to hold the maps. You can see them in the pictures.
Still need to stain the closet and the doors.

Below is the map holder I added. I'd like to add one to the other door as well.

Morning sunrise.
